Geremi Njitap Divorces Discovers he is not the biological father of his Twins

Former Cameroonian football star Geremi Njitap, renowned for his illustrious career with Chelsea, has made headlines yet again, this time for personal reasons as he reportedly divorces his wife of 12 years, Toukam Fotso Laure Verline, following shocking revelations.

The 45-year-old ex-Blues right-back has stunned many with his recent divorce filing, which has sent ripples of disbelief through the Cameroonian media landscape. According to reports, Njitap took this drastic step upon discovering that he is not the biological father of the twins he believed were his for over a decade.

In a bombshell revelation outlined in court documents exclusively obtained by Cameroon News Agency and reported by Mimimemofo Infos, Njitap alleges a series of distressing events that led to the collapse of his marriage to Toukam Fotso Laure Verline, daughter of the late Cameroonian billionaire, Fotso Victor.

Among the most shocking claims is Njitap’s assertion that the twins born to the couple in 2008 are not biologically his, as he had previously thought. Instead, Njitap alleges that DNA testing has revealed them to be the offspring of Toukam’s previous partner.

The documents further detail Toukam’s alleged deceit regarding the paternity of their twin children. Born four years before their marriage, Toukam had presented the twins as her own, leading Njitap to believe they were his biological children. This revelation has left fans and followers astounded.

However, the controversy doesn’t end there. Njitap also cites marital discord in the form of alleged rejection of sexual intimacy by his wife and verbal mistreatment, including insults and derogatory language, as additional factors contributing to the breakdown of their relationship.

These explosive allegations have tarnished what was once perceived as a picture-perfect marriage between the former football star and his wife.

During his illustrious playing career, Geremi Njitap was known for his versatility, playing roles ranging from right-back to defensive midfielder, and for his power, pace, and free-kick ability. He enjoyed successful stints at clubs like Real Madrid and Chelsea, winning domestic and international honors.

Njitap, who earned 118 caps for Cameroon, also represented clubs like Newcastle United and Gençlerbirliği before retiring in January 2011. He was a vital member of the Cameroonian squad that secured victories in multiple Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and participated in two FIFA World Cups and the 2000 Olympics.
