Known for their history of rivalry, fans have long been divided into “Team Wizkid” and “Team Davido,” passionately supporting their respective favorite.
On Monday night, tensions reached new heights when Wizkid responded to fans’ pleas for new music on the social media platform X. He shared a cryptic video featuring an unidentified person asking for a favor, suggesting that only with earnest pleas from fans would he release his highly anticipated track.
However, Davido wasted no time in firing back, dismissing Wizkid’s taunt and refusing to engage in what he deemed as a waste of his influence on someone whose career “was resurrected a few years ago just to die again.”
